Ivan’s AV was part of the Ellis Don team in the design and build of the $52 million state of the art building that is home to the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government. The $1.6 million dollar AV project involved the technical teams of both our Nova Scotia and New Brunswick offices and was one of the larger projects we had undertaken up until then.
Our work consisted of equipping 40, 60 and 80 seat classrooms with projectors, audio systems and future recording and streaming systems. Also constructed were active learning classrooms with eight individual huddle stations equipped for videoconferencing. A computer lab was equipped with projectors, audio systems and future streaming and recording systems.
Key highlights of the project included the build out of the 300 seat auditorium, equipped with projection, screens, audio, streaming and recording systems as well as an internal broadcast studio built specifically for the use of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.
